(Yes, I'm serious.)It was announced yesterday that the touring production of Bring it On: The Musical will make a stop this summer at the St. James theatre. Tony Award winners Tom Kitt (Next to Normal) and Lin-Manuel Miranda (In the Heights) wrote the music for the show, and lyrics were written by Amanda Green and Miranda. The show is based off of the original 2000 movie, and the show uses professional cheerleaders as well as actors to perform stunts and tumbling routines in the show. Previews will begin on July 12 and an opening night is set for August 1. The show will close on October 7 and the national tour will continue on.

I didn't even know Bring It On had a musical!! I would love to see this! I think it would be awesome and being a big fan of the movies I want to try to see it!
